10 Current Stars Who Should Have Been WWE Champion By Now
6. Damien Sandow
Damien Sandow is one of the worst victims of being in the wrong place at the wrong time. If hed won the Money in the Bank briefcase in any previous year, he would more than likely have been World Heavyweight Champion. Unfortunately, towards the end of 2013, WWE decided to unify the WWE and World Heavyweight Championships into one title and Sandow still had his contract for a guaranteed World Heavyweight Championship match. The unification match was never going to be Randy Orton v Damien Sandow, so Sandow had to lose his title match. He didnt have to lose it in as embarrassing a fashion as he did though. John Cenas arm was already hanging on by a thread from his match with Alberto Del Rio, and Sandow even had time to maul him before cashing in the contract. As wrestling fans have become accustomed to, Cena overcame the odds and defeated Sandow dashing the hopes of fans worldwide. However, its a year later and as Damien Mizdow, hes never been more popular, so once again theres a chance he may rise to title contention sometime in the future.
