10 Current Stars Who Should Have Been WWE Champion By Now
4. Cesaro
Wrestling is an environment where having talent in abundance doesnt necessarily result in success. Some of the worst wrestlers of all time have been WWE Champion, and some of the best never amounted to anything on the big stage. Sometimes there comes along a wrestler so unbelievably gifted that the fans demand the WWE acknowledge it. CM Punk and Daniel Bryan both benefitted from this, and for a while it seemed like Cesaro would as well. Cesaro had a hell of a start to his year, he had an amazing Monday Night Raw match with John Cena, and stole the show at Elimination Chamber. He took it even further when he bodyslammed The Big Show over the top rope at WrestleMania to win the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal. It seemed like the only way was up for The Swiss Superman but, through no fault of his own, his career has stalled since then. His alignment with Paul Heyman was ill-concieved, and somehow his Real Americans partner Jack Swagger was the one to get the face turn and subsequent push. Fans wont let go of Cesaro without a fight though, and he still garners signs and chants everywhere he goes. Hes still in the prime of his career, so theres ample time yet for WWE to realise what they have in him.
