It is nearly impossible to boo Walter.
The imposing United Kingdom Champion very rarely uses words to get across his character...he just chops people. That might be underselling "The Ring General" but Walter's physical storytelling is unparalleled. He can work with any type of wrestler: high-flyer, British Strong Style, a big man. Walter commits to his work and that just makes him a likeable athlete.
Walter offers an incredible amount to all of his matches. At NXT UK Takeover: Cardiff, the NXT UK Champion made Tyler Bate look like a megastar. This is why it's so difficult to hate the leader of Imperium. He offers great match after great match. He's not openly funny or has been part of terrific angles. He is just a brilliant, methodical heel.
His style isn't for everyone that's for sure. But there's no denying that Walter has managed to keep the prestige of the NXT UK title intact. He has consistently over delivered in his matches and has made for a perfect top heel on the (sadly) underappreciated NXT UK.
