Looking at Bayley in NXT, you wouldn't say that she would become the top heel on the blue brand...but here we are!
The former SmackDown Women's Champion is currently killing it in WWE as a heel because she is so charismatic. She embodies a snivelling villiian who will do anything to get out of her championship defences and she does it wonderfully. Her act is almost a throwback which is why so many wrestling fans have latched onto Bayley. For a division that is very short on complex bad guys, she has taken the ball and ran with it.
Looking at her Hell in a Cell encounter with Sasha Banks, Bayley can still tell compelling stories in the ring and manages to keep audiences engaged through her in-ring work. She hasn't lost a step since NXT Takeover: Respect and it shows. This Takeover cemented the former NXT Women's Champion as one of the best work rate stars in the division and she has only continued this trend throughout her main roster run.
Bayley's story is compelling, and audiences can't help but adore her, especially when she needs help to find the edge of some duct tape!
