TNA has had some cool moments throughout the organisation's existence, but it's a poor man's alternative to WWE. Far from being a brutal burial of Dixie Carter and company, that's simply a brutal piece of honesty, TNA is is no way competitive to World Wrestling Entertainment, and it doesn't look like it ever will be. In the 90's, wrestling fans had much more freedom to choose what they wanted to watch, there was so much to pick from. Not digging what the WWF are presenting at their next 'In Your House' Pay-Per-View? Why not flip over to WCW and see what they have in store for the month's big supercard? Finding both companies to be pretty saccharine? ECW has you covered by providing something wholly different. It's no coincidence that a lot of fans started drifting off from wrestling once WCW and ECW went out of business, because it seemed like the very heart of the industry had been ripped out. Gone was that competitive aura which made WWF/WWE fly by the seat of their pants and really try to be creative. For many, wrestling just can't be the same as it once was.
