10 Current WWE Roster Members Who Are Beyond Saving

8. Heath Slater

To recap, Heath Slater has been an upstart renegade (Nexus), wannabe rockstar (3MB), overlooked mid-carder (the Social Outcasts) and bumbling father who "needs this job" during his WWE run. His latest gimmick is the only one that has managed to stick, and yet it's not paying dividends.

Rhyno, Heath's tag partner, was originally going to be included on this list, but he's an older worker who doesn't really need the spotlight at this point in his career. Slater is a little different, and it must depress him that he's been pushed to the back of the line even when he's shown glimpses of something more.

Those trailer-park skits on SmackDown in 2016 were hilarious. They showed a quirky side to Slater and led to the biggest reactions of his career post-Nexus.

That seems like an age ago, not less than two years, and it's sadly true that Heath is in limbo on Raw. The "I Got Kids" gag has run its course, his team with Rhyno is barely acknowledged by creative and TV matches are thin on the ground by this stage.
