10 Current WWE Stars Who Are Triple H Guys

5. Adam Cole

When Adam Cole signals his irresistible BAY-BAY call-and-response, you can readily imagine Triple H basking in the back, utterly boy-popped.

Pointedly, Triple H made sure to point out Cole's palpable charisma and sublime character during an interview with ESPN conducted earlier this year. This may be reading too heavily into the subtext, but Triple H appeared to signal Cole's immense main roster prospects since, to enter the TakeOver arena, one must be a very good worker at a minimum (or, in the case of Lars Sullivan, too storyline-powerful to ignore). Triple H was less subtle as his praise grew more effusive. He confirmed that Cole has a "very big role" to play in the coming years. We've heard that before, yes, but wait 'til Vince McMahon cops a load (ahem) of him. He's Shawn Michaels, only better-looking.

It's telling also that the North American title followed so soon after Cole's arrival, after years of midcard championship refusal. Cole is a magnet for everything: crowd response, gold, and, on the basis of at least one WhatCulture.com staffer's wife, female attention.

He is, in short, a draw - and Triple H senses this.
