10 Current WWE Stars Worth Their Weight In Gold

1. Drew McIntyre

There's a reason Drew McIntyre was widely viewed as the most consistent male superstar in WWE for 2020.

Everything Drew did last year was the best it could be. His elimination of Brock Lesnar and eventual victory in one of the best Royal Rumbles of all time cemented him as a top star in the company. His match with Lesnar at WrestleMania, while odd to watch now due to the eery silence of the performance centre, was exactly what it needed to be. He had matches with the likes of Dolph Ziggler and Bobby Lashley that were better than they had any right to be. His much-maligned programme with Randy Orton was actually very solid from an in-ring standpoint, and along with Roman Reigns, he gave us a glimpse of what a future WrestleMania main-event between the two could look like. To put it simply, Drew barely put a foot wrong in 2020.

But long-time fans know there's so much more to the Scottish Psychopath than that. The desire and resolve fans have seen from the former Drew Galloway over the past few years, from WWE outcast to indie megastar to WWE Champion is an inspiring tale. Furthermore, McIntyre is one of the most naturally endearing babyfaces WWE has had in years and is a terrific ambassador for the company.

With the right booking, and with the perfect heel foil in Roman Reigns, Drew could easily match the level of John Cena as one of the top stars in the company, WWE just need to do the work to get him there.
