10 Current WWE Superstars Who 'Can't Wrestle' (But Have Succeeded Anyway)
5. Ryback
Ryback is the modern day Goldberg. Minus the ridiculous undefeated streak. Oh wait, he did have one of those, didn't he?
But still, Goldberg couldn't wrestle, so Ryback should be taking those comparisons with a pinch of salt.
Ryan Reeves came through Tough Enough alongside The Miz back in 2004, and after a run as Skip Sheffield in The Nexus, he got injured. A severely broken ankle and leg - suffered in a match - stopped his progress. However, he's fought back and become one of WWE's more seriously taken babyfaces in the modern day.
But rest assured he's not got there by having stellar matches with different opponents every night. Instead, Ryback has been packaged well, and initially benefited from a number of squash match wins. His first ascent to the WWE Championship scene came at a good - if premature - time, but since he failed to capture the gold it's been tough for Ryback to maintain his momentum.
The act got old fast. And Ryback isn't blessed with the finesse of say, a Dolph Ziggler in the ring, so he needs other aspects of his character to go for him. He's a classic big guy (he's actually given himself that moniker, too) but he's fallen away from the main event scene.
Oh, and 'Feed Me More' got boring a long time ago.
