3. Batista

Hand-picked to succeed by the powers that be, Batista rose to prominence after joining Evolution - alongside the likes of Triple H and Ric Flair - in the mid-2000's. But while Batista had the physique and the look to take him to multiple championships, his abilities in the ring left a little to be desired.

Batista could go, but often that would come down to who he was facing across the other side of the ring. He'd usually need guys who could run around him to make him look good, though his strength and power was something to see.

The Animal was, and is, an impressive specimen, but he's certainly not one of the men who springs to mind as one of the best workers post-Attitude Era.

His limited in-ring capabilities didn't stop him succeeding, though. He's been a six-time world champion, has won two Royal Rumbles and had four Tag-Team title runs. Batista is by no means the words of the bunch, but considering his successes down the years, his glittering career in wrestling and the fact he'd remained on the roster until last year, his place on the list is warranted.
