10 Current WWE Superstars Who Should Be World Champion In The Next Year
7. Big E
Big E is one of the most underrated stars on the roster, as well as one of the most improved. Teaming with Kofi Kingston for six years will do that to a performer. On the mic, he can be hilarious and downright dangerous, while in the ring he is quick and remarkably powerful.
Going through the remainder of the year, Big E should initially struggle in his attempt to strike out on his own. Toning down the pancakes and Power Of Positivity aspects of Big E's character gives him a new angle, a different slant that we know he can pull off. The timing is perfect for all members of New Day to have a temporary departure from their norm to freshen them up before getting back together in a year or two.
Breaking him away from his New Day counterparts is a promising sign that WWE has big plans for the chief gyrator of WWE. Let's just hope he doesn't go the way as The IIconics or Ricochet and Aleister Black. This is NXT world champion number four who is yet to win the big one.
