We can only imagine what kind of meeting went underway to decide what kind of persona Johnny Curtis would debut on the main roster as. 'Yep, dancer gimmick, dances all the time, loves to dance'. That'll get this great young talent over with the fans, because that worked so well when Disco Inferno did it twenty years ago, whoever it is in WWE management who's responsible for these stupid occupational gimmicks needs to be fired. Fandango's been in the WWE for 2 years now and what has he accomplished? Literally nothing. The gimmick somehow got over at the very beginning, with fans buying and singing the entrance theme, but as time went by the booking made sure Fandango was little more than a comedic jobber. Johnny Curtis no doubt deserves better, but there's very little chance of that happening, a character like Fandango was always going to sink to jobber status, it's just a shame that a genuine talent got stuck with it. Unless Curtis gets an immediate repackaging, he'll be going nowhere. The situation is remarkably similar to the next entry...
