10 Current WWE Wrestlers Most Likely To Leave For AEW

1. Luke Harper

Luke Harper is a man who has not been seen on WWE television since WrestleMania 35. Prior to this, Harper had not been on TV since SummerSlam 2018, which summarises the way that he has been treated by WWE since his split from The Wyatt Family.

Harper has been on TV once since his return from injury and is yet to be seen since 'Mania. This proves that WWE does not have any credible ideas on storylines involving Harper, with it also being reported that Vince McMahon decided that a proposed storyline involving Sami Zayn was not interesting. It was published that McMahon "doesn't get" Harper as a character, which explains why he has not been used very frequently.

In addition to being criminally under-used, Luke Harper requested his release from his contract in April 2019, which was denied by Vince McMahon personally. This confirms Harper's obvious displeasure in the way that he has been treated in the company and clearly shows that there are no plans in the works that involve the character.

Unfortunately, unless Vince McMahon has a sudden change of heart, Harper will not be able to go to AEW any time soon, as his contract has been forcefully extended until at least May 2020. However, Harper would be the perfect acquisition for AEW, as he is an extremely talented individual and deserves much more creative control over his character.

The war is only just beginning, but WWE needs to be wary of their talent's displeasure, as AEW will always be waiting.
