10 Current WWE Wrestlers Most Likely To Leave For AEW
9. EC3
The second entrant on this list that was re-signed by WWE after his initial release, EC3 is on his second stint with the company and has not been involved in any high-profile storylines since his return.
At WrestleMania 35, EC3 competed in the Battle Royal and was eliminated fourth out of 30 men. Since WrestleMania, he has wrestled on WWE television once, when he was choke-slammed by Braun Strowman during the 'Superstar Shake-Up'.
Once a key player in TNA, EC3 must be disappointed in the way that he has been utilised since re-signing with WWE. On NXT, 'The Top One Percent' was presented as a dominant force and a viable contender to the NXT North American Championship. He was allowed to put on actual matches and tell entertaining stories alongside excellent talent. Now, EC3 has become a jobber on the main roster and is used as cannon-fodder for other top talents.
A move to AEW and a slight shift in his character could do EC3 a world of good. Allowing Ethan Carter III more control and creativity in his storylines would bring a breath of fresh air to the character - and it would also instantly present a top threat in AEW, with EC3 being displayed as a prominent, unstoppable force.
Also, he would continue to impress on a wide stage, given the time he deserves.
