10 Current WWE Wrestlers Most Likely To Leave For AEW

Potential AEW Superstars

The 'King of Strong Style' has had a rough time of things since joining WWE's main roster.

His time on NXT was magical and his stand-out matches against Samoa Joe and Sami Zayn were a highlight of the 'developmental' brand in his first years there. Ever since being promoted to the main roster, however, Nakamura has found life a lot harder.

Main event matches against AJ Styles for the WWE Championship showcased his in-ring talent, although that slowly became focused on low-blows and immature gags. When Nakamura was given time to perform alongside extremely talented superstars, he was able to show his true talent and perform outstanding matches. However, since then, WWE has presented Shinsuke as a midcard talent, who isn't worthy of the main event picture.

A feud with Rusev over the United States Championship was to follow, and as a heel champion Nakamura was impressive - but he was not given the opportunity to showcase his ability. After that lacklustre program, Shinsuke was reduced to tagging with 'The Bulgarian Brute' and now finds himself without a credible feud or storyline.

That being the case, it seems more likely that Nakamura may be tempted over to the promised land of AEW if his situation does not improve. The King of Strong Style would enjoy the style of performing in All Elite Wrestling, and the creative control he would receive over his character style.
