10 Current WWE Wrestlers Most Likely To Leave For AEW
6. Ali
One superstar who has expressed genuine displeasure in the way he has been treated recently, Ali has his own issues with WWE.
At Money In The Bank 2019, Ali was allegedly told that he would be the winner of the marquee ladder match. However, just before the start of the match, Ali was apparently told that the real winner would be Brock Lesnar and he was, understandably, disappointed.
Standing atop the ladder with the briefcase in hand, Ali was stunned by the entrance of 'The Beast Incarnate' and sacrificed his Money in the Bank contract when he was thrown from it. After losing his opportunity at winning a guaranteed title shot, Ali took to Twitter, stating: "Brock Lesnar climbing a ladder is the most wrestling he's done all year." This blatant shot at Lesnar on Twitter may not have sat too nicely with WWE Executives, least of all Vince McMahon; however, one can imagine that with his new WWE Chronicle, Ali won't be at too much risk of punishment.
This past week on SmackDown, Ali took part in a stand-out match against Andrade, after their outstanding performances at Money In The Bank. On WWE programming, it appears as though he is not set to receive another chance at the top of the card for a while, but a move to AEW would allow the high-flyer to get the high-profile shots he deserves.
