Okay, I concede that as the daughter of the Alimony Pony, Ric Flair, there is something guaranteed about Charlotte using the Figure Four as a finishing move. The Figure-Eight bridge is a nice touch, but the problem is that the Figure Four never seemed to work for Ric, and probably shouldn't for Charlotte.

Don't get me started on the 'Natural Selection' either. The lack of distance between her opponents chin and the mat at the beginning of the move makes the whole thing seem just a little silly. When she performs the move from higher up it is okay, but the standard version looks about as painful as walking into a door, which is obviously painful but not enough to incapacitate you for three whole seconds.

Seeing as at this point in time WWE are obsessed with pushing Charlotte as Ric's daughter and not much else, I don't expect to see a change in finish any time soon, although I sure would welcome one.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
