8. Harashima
Harashima is a product of the Dramatic Dream Team Dojo and made his professional wrestling debut in 2001. He has performed with the promotion for over twenty years while also being one of its most decorated roster members. He has also appeared for Big Japan Pro Wrestling and Toshikoshi Puroresu.
During his time in DDT, Harashima has won almost every tournament and championship the promotion has to offer. He is a multi-time holder of the DDT Extreme, Ironman Heavymetalweight, Jiyugaoka 6-Person Tag Team, KO-D Openweight, and the KO-D Tag Team Championships. He has won seven tournaments with his most recent happening this year, winning the Ultimate Tag League alongside Naomi Yoshimura.
Out of everyone on the AEW roster, Harashima should face the obvious choice in Brian Danielson, their chemistry would be palpable with the two showing the world just how good wrestlers from DDT really are. For anyone who thinks this company is just comedy wrestling, that is. If you want someone not as obvious maybe the charismatic and devilish Team Taz member, Ricky Starks. The two of them could put on a barn burner of a match and why not bring the FTW Championship into the mix. Whatever happened Harashima should and needs to come to AEW.
