10 DDT & TJPW Wrestlers Who MUST Appear In AEW
7. Shoko Nakajima
If Shoko Nakajima seems familiar to you as an AEW viewer, that might be because she has appeared for the company before, making her debut in July 2019 at Fight for the Fallen.
Nakajima has been a professional wrestler since August of 2013 and has worked in Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling and CMLL. Viewers of AEW might not realize that Shoko Nakajima has held a number of championships and has won several tournaments while working for DDT and Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling.
She is a one-time DDT Ironman Heavymetalweight Champion and a Princess Tag Team Champion alongside Yuka Sakazaki. Nakajima is the current Princess of Princess Champion in her second reign. 2020 would mark the third tournament she would win in TJPW, with the first being the Princess Cup in 2015, following it up two years later with winning the Princess Tag Team Championship tournament.
She has previously locked up with other AEW wrestlers Yuka Sakazaki, Britt Baker, and Riho. Depending on where her loyalties lie she could team up or go against any one of these wrestlers, but the women’s roster has such a great depth to it that there are now so many more options available. Nakajima could face the likes of Ruby Soho, Kris Statlander, or the underrated pairing of The Bunny and Penelope Ford.
