Longest individual reign as a World Champion: 180 days as TNA World Heavyweight Champion World Titles held: 4-time WWE Champion (297 combined days), 5-time TNA World Heavyweight Champion (463 combined days), 1-time World Heavyweight Champion (82 days), 1-time WCW World Heavyweight Champion (In the WWE) As professional wrestling's only Olympic gold-medalist, Kurt Angle is arguably the best pound-for-pound technical wrestler still around today. In his tenure at WWE and TNA, he's held eleven World Titles. As a wrestler it's hard to deny that every one of those title victories aren't deserved, as he's truly one of the best champions to ever step in the ring. In the latter half of his career, it's arguable that he was misused and under booked by TNA and perhaps should have been in the main event scene more. Had he stayed at WWE, it's possible Kurt could have gone on to hold the company's Championships many more times, but ultimately he chose to relocate to TNA not for a chance at bigger glory, but for a reduced travelling schedule and less time in the ring. While he'll certainly go down as one of the best overall wrestlers in wrestling history, he's also the seventh most decorated World Champion so far.
