Longest individual reign as a World Champion: 1,474 days as WWE Champion World Titles held: 6-time WWE Champion (combined 2,185 days), 6-time WCW World Heavyweight Champion (1,117 days) Hogan helped popularize professional wrestling and was arguably the major face of wrestling for two whole decades. Hogan gets the nod as the fourth most decorated wrestling World Champion as a 12-time World Champion. While there are others above him on this list with more world title wins, the sheer length of his reigns, the eras in which he won them, and his prolonged relevance as a competitor makes him more a much more impressive World Champion. Title switching happens much more frequently in modern wrestling, a fact that can't be forgotten when considering the authenticity of World Champions. His longest reign was his very first world title won in 1984, which he lost to Andre the Giant over four years later. Ultimately he was truly dominant in a number of his title reigns across both the WWF and WCW. The fact that Hulk Hogan won his belts across a twenty-year stretch in two different competing organizations makes his accomplishments even more valid.
