Longest individual reign as a World Champion: 134 days as WCW World Heavyweight Champion World Titles held: 2-time NWA Heavyweight Champion (216 combined days) , 6-time WCW World Heavyweight Champion (250 combined days), 4-time TNA World Heavyweight Champion (326 combined days) The only man on this list to not step into a WWE ring (yet), quite an impressive feat as Sting weighs in as a twelve-time World Heavyweight Champion. If you consider the short-lived WWA World Heavyweight Championship or the WCW International World Heavyweight Championship as worth an inclusion, then Sting technically has fifteen world title reigns. While twelve is certainly a lot, in some ways, Sting deserved much more from his WCW career than was ever given to him. He's often named as the most important star WCW ever had, but as soon as Hogan and the NWO became the focal point of the organization, Sting was put on the back-burner until late 1999. Of his six WCW World Titles, most were only held a few weeks or months, with some being vacated immediately such as the match vs Hogan at Starrcade '97 with the botched finish. Sting deserved to be a more decorated champion than he ever ended up being, but at least he still stands as one of the most decorated wrestlers of all-time.
