10 Depressing Wrestling Retirement Matches

Lita was one of the bright lights of the Women's/Divas' division in terms of wrestling ability. When usually the women on the roster were spending time pillow fighting or rolling around in pudding, Lita, Trish Stratus, Molly Holly and a few others had actual matches. For Lita, this included the honour of beating Trish Stratus for her title in the first ever women's main event on Raw.

So, what better way to celebrate her last match than to humiliate her and reduce her to a sex object?

Lita lost to James at Survivor Series 2006, putting over an up-and-comer as is ring tradition. Instead of letting Lita enjoy a few minutes in the spotlight, what should have been an emotional moment became a bit by having Cryme Tyme come to ringside and auction off Lita's 'property' (mostly bras and such) in what they called a 'ho sale.'

Lita has shared how she talked to everyone possible up to and including Vince himself to change the angle, only to be met with 'no' all along. So, sucking it up for the company, Lita went out and did the job, only to be laughed out of the building.
