10 Despicably Villainous UFC Moments

4. Tito Ortiz Gives Ken Shamrock The Finger

You can't compile a list of despicably villainous UFC moments without one of the biggest sh*t-stirrers in MMA history cropping up.

Tito Ortiz absolutely relished getting under the skin of his opponents and he did just that after bullying Guy Mezger at UFC 19. Mezger was a training partner of Ken Shamrock's and the UFC superstar didn't take too kindly to Ortiz' showboating - which involved him immediately putting on a t-shirt which said 'Guy Mezger Is My B*tch' after the fight.

If that villainous tactic wasn't enough, Ortiz upped the ante by flipping off Shamrock after he'd been dragged away from the clearly p*ssed off MMA icon and this set up a clash between the two later down the line.

In the end, Shamrock wasn't able to shut up Ortiz at UFC 40 and the cocky bleach blonde superstar was able to get the last laugh by whacking on an 'I Killed Kenny, You Bastard!' top straight after the victory.

Ortiz was loved by some, but hated by many and that's exactly how he liked it. You could argue that Ortiz was the fighter who really first made talking smack a weapon in the world of MMA.

But, if Ortiz was the originator, the next star became the master...
