10 Devastating Injuries That Made Wrestlers WORSE

8. The Undertaker

As somebody who attended WrestleMania XXX live in person can attest, the Undertaker Vs. Brock Lesnar was a match too far before the match even happened.

There was no huge swell of anticipation, no feeling that we were set for a legendary Match of the Year Candidate. The crowd was fired up on Daniel Bryan, and several Bray Wyatt cosplayers were in attendance, which is a major double-barrelled indictment on WrestleMania 31 the following year.

And then the match happened.

It was damned by the concussion Undertaker suffered early. For the ensuing 20 or so minutes, an eerie silence cloaked the Superdome. Something was wrong. 'Taker walked glass-eyed through a plodding affair lacking in drama, atmosphere, everything.

He actually worked an underrated twilight run in late 2015, putting Brock over twice more in redemptive, brutal brawls across SummerSlam and Hell In A Cell. But the smoke and mirrors could not mask his definitive hip issues forever. He learned this to much humiliation at WrestleMania 33. All those apron leg drops ruined his mobility; he couldn't even get himself up for a Tombstone reversal, much less honour a legacy doomed by WWE's desperation and his own vanity.

Those two forces collided again and again, putting the pressure on 'Taker's replaced hip, through which he struggled drawn to blood money like a cartoon dog starving for pie.

Poontang pie.
