10 Directions For New WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar

8. Chaos At Payback

With so many viable contenders around at the moment, it makes sense to throw them all together for a huge multi-man match at Payback. There probably isn't enough time to build a cohesive, one-on-one rivalry ahead of the next PPV, but building a fun, frantic four-way war based solely on competition and the desire to be champion would alleviate that concern.

Besides, Lesnar defending the belt against Bálor, Reigns, and Rollins at the same time should be an incredible spectacle. He has already had excellent matches with Reigns and Rollins in the past, and the soon-to-return Bálor would give the contest a real X-factor. They’re four of WWE’s most talented wrestlers, and assuming they all click in the ring together, it’s hard to imagine them not putting-on a Match of the Year candidate.

The most important thing is to have Brock emerge with a clean victory. He also shouldn’t be pinning Roman Reigns at this point, and Bálor likely needs to be protected too. Thus, pinning Rollins following a wild pay-per-view main event is likely the best choice, and would keep the Reigns pinfall fresh for future confrontations.
