Battleground left the divas division looking more promising than it has in a long, long time, with rising NXT prospects Charlotte, Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks all featuring in some capacity. Charlotte's win over Brie Bella signalled the beginning of a new, more talented generation, a change which will hopefully continue to occur as the weeks roll on. The WWE can help such a transition by taking a leaf out of their 2010 Nexus angle. Why not have the NXT divas utterly take over the division, interfering in the Bellas' matches and proclaiming themselves the future of women's wrestling? It would make the instant impact needed to reinvigorate a lacklustre divas division, and generate a number of subsequent subplots (mutiny against Paige for being a relatively established roster member, Sasha and Charlotte competing for top dog status, and so on).
