10 Disastrous WWE Booking Decisions Triple H Has Already Botched

4. Brock Lesnar Vs Bobby Lashley

The Bobby Lashley/Brock Lesnar feud is one of those strange things thought un-eff-up-able until it happened, and was profoundly effed up.

A Royal Rumble 2022 meeting was left wanting when it became a device to heat up the umpteenth impending Roman Reigns/Brock Lesnar WrestleMania match, and a rematch in Saudi Arabia later that year scanned as an inconvenience when WWE booked Lashley to batter 'The Beast' after being beaten clean with a classic Bret Hart counter. Sighs of relief could be heard all over arenas - not difficult during most Raw tapings, but still - when the pair were booked for an Elimination Chamber payoff, but that turned out to be a bait and switch, and the dread's returned that the pair are headed to the 'Show Of Shows' for yet another bore.

Not since Triple H returned in 2002 looking like he was smuggling beach balls in his biceps to cover for the fact that he might not be able to go like the good old days has major league big man wrestling felt so small-time. Bray Wyatt teasing his b*llocks with the two of them was so appealing, despite how almost certainly rubbish it would have been. Not for the first time in his bizarre career, the 'Eater Of Worlds' finds himself as the lesser of two evils.
