10 Disastrous WWE Booking Decisions Triple H Has Already Botched

3. Everything About Damage CTRL

One of the all-time pro wrestling "good on paper" concepts has failed and Triple H needs to do what so few other wrestling bookers and creatives have ever done and look inwards as to why that is.

It's one thing for heels not to back up their bluster but it's quite another to use titles as a fake front for it too. As Women's Tag Team Champions, Dakota Kai and Iyo Sky have been talking props for Bayley feuds and paper Champions in their big first main roster roles. As for the leader herself, the 'Role Model' hasn't elevated them any more than they've helped propel her back to the top of the card. Nor, worryingly, has a programme with Becky Lynch that has been bad for both Horsewomen.

They'll break up soon - the seeds have been sown as you read this, if not reaped too - but the legacy will be one of a laziness and missed opportunities rather than fulfilling the potential of all three.
