10 Disturbing Times WWE Flirted With Romance Angles

5. The Live Sex Celebration

Less of a romance angle, more of a ratings grab f*ck-fest, this was still disturbing.

You remember it well; Edge, overjoyed that he'd successfully cashed in his Money In The Bank briefcase, decided he would bang Lita live on Monday Night RAW, which was never so aptly named, if you catch my drift (he was going to enter Lita unsheathed).

The main disturbing element here is that Lita really, really didn't want to partake in the angle. Traumatised by every single arena that WWE ran calling her a slut, she was very understandably apprehensive about portraying a sex act with her exclusive partner because women are sluts for doing that, where men are legends.

She was told to do it else she'd be fired.

Lads - and it is the lads - just watch pornography. If you want to watch people actually bone, just...watch that. You are not going to see full, penetrative sex on a professional wrestling show. It isn't going to happen, unless of course NXT 2.0 ratings dip so low that Bruce Prichard gets desperate and books Duke Hudson to blow his beans up Persia Pirotta.
