10 Disturbing Wrestling Bumps That Nearly Went Badly Wrong

7. Taka Michinoku Goes Splat

The infamous Taka Michinoku Royal Rumble bump happened so quickly that it's difficult to determine just how disgusting it was.

Upon impact, three small circles of an unspecified liquid appear just next to what somehow wasn't Taka's corpse. It's unclear whether was sweat, or whether something splattered out of Taka's head that absolutely should have remained inside of it.

This bump is also disturbing because it was hilarious. Perhaps it wouldn't have been, had Jerry Lawler not demanded several instant replays of the incident. Taka's pain amused Lawler greatly. It thrilled him, and bear in mind a medical update probably wasn't forthcoming through the headset in such an important, complex match. He reacted to the bump, and for all he knew a serious concussion several times, as if he'd just seen a bonanza pair of t*ts.

It's also hilarious because it was entirely unnecessary. Kaientai weren't even entered in the match officially; this was a bit played for laughs because they didn't understand they weren't part of it. During the second interference, Taka was immediately eliminated by Gangrel and the Big Boss Man.

A near-fatal combination of two hosses + one intrepid, slight bumper = Jerry Lawler pissing himself, and Taka pissing blood.
