10 Disturbing Wrestling Bumps That Nearly Went Badly Wrong

6. New Jack Tries To Kill Vic Grimes

Less botch gone awry than intentional murder attempt gone awry, this, to New Jack, was a disturbing wrestling bump that nearly went right.

On this evidence, Vic Grimes would have starred in this modern era of WWE, were he born a decade later, because what a dumbass. How did he not know to expect something very awful was imminent?

This was mirrored, ludicrously intensified revenge for an incident that took place three years prior at ECW Living Dangerously, at which a double balcony dive went very, very awry: Grimes mistimed his part in the fall, sandwiching New Jack's skull between his body and the unprotected concrete below. New Jack suffered brain damage and permanent blindness in his right eye follow the botched stunt, but this was less eye for an eye and more corpse for an eye, as a revenge strategy. At no point did Grimes think, Hey, I might die here, when ascending a massive scaffold led by a man who once ripped somebody's face open with a surgical scalpel and was also New Jack.

New Jack almost missed the ridiculous stack of tables - drat, nearly got him! - and Grimes clipped the table.

You're getting to hell if you were amused by his comical bounce-back, and brother, I'll see you there.
