10 Dream Goldberg Matches In WWE (And How To Book Them)

1. The Undertaker

Another Wrestlemania-level encounter, a first-time clash between The Undertaker and Bill Goldberg would match the lofty expectations the 'Show of Shows' has set with similar dream contests in recent years.

The match satisfies every criteria for longterm fans, pitting WCW vs WWE, 173-1 undfeated vs 21-1 undefeated at Wrestlemania, and a man who has killed careers vs a man who's career can never really be killed.

For extra spice, The Undertaker may be none too happy to see the man who ended his Wrestlemania Streak take such a hiding like Brock did at the Survivor Series. Goldberg could argue that if he can do that to Lesnar, what on earth will he do to the man Lesnar conquered?

With the best will in the world, the prevailing feeling around The Deadman is that he can't have too many Wrestlemania appearances left in him. Fantasy bookers have already proposed that a possible match with John Cena come with retirement caveats.

And indeed, now north in age, Taker would have to avoid the Spear and the Jackhammer to survive such a titanic struggle, either winning by submission or going down admirably via pinfall.

No matter the outcome though, the mutual respect between two bonafide legends would only increase their auras with global audiences, even if for either man, this dance would prove to be their last.
