10 Dream Goldberg Matches In WWE (And How To Book Them)

2. Roman Reigns

Despite massive setbacks in 2016, Reigns still remains established as a force to be reckoned with, and represents the new Big Dog that Goldberg would have to take down in order to make his future intentions clear.

A cross-generational war, 'Da Man' vs 'The Guy' has a number of appealing attributes that would make for an enormous Pay-Per-View encounter, in which the result may not be such a foregone conclusion.

Aside from the natural comparisons between the men in terms of size, their dominance of a roster at such a young age, and their lovely goatees, the build-up could focus too on the two men's ability to deliver devastating Spears. Reigns could suggest that, as the younger of the two, he'll simply get to Goldberg before Goldberg can get to him.

Fans would surely salivate at the prospect of the reverse occurring too, with audiences likely baying for Roman's blood when they see Reigns and Goldberg square off. And defeat for either man would have massive ramifications on their WWE futures.
