10 Dream Goldberg Matches In WWE (And How To Book Them)

6. Kevin Owens

Speaking of Chris Jericho's best friend, as current Champion on the show Goldberg has made his home (though not one he's been officially drafted to), Owens could be a prime target if Bill was to follow through on his next plan and win the Royal Rumble.

Owens would need to rely on cheating, diversionary tactics and his vast experience on the independent scene to even stand a chance against the monstrous Goldberg on a rampage for his title.

However, Owens has proved himself equal parts resilient and ruthless against the likes of John Cena and Seth Rollins, and has stretched unthinkable lengths to keep his title and the previous championships he has won.

As a slimy heel, he represents exactly what this incarnation of Goldberg has set out to destroy. Styled as a hero to children, he would get the opportunity to dethrone his polar opposite in Owens, who would stoop to every depth to escape with his title

Strictly from an entertainment standpoint, he's got the in-ring ability to give Goldberg an excellent longer match, and would have no problem looking incredibly weak in defeat or fortunate in a stolen victory.
