10 Dream Matches That WWE Can Still Offer

1. Steve Austin Vs. Anybody!

Roman Reigns The Rock
WWE

Glass shatters > Brawl > Stunners galore > Beer bash.

That's a winning formula for Steve Austin, and it's why people clamoured to see him return to the ring for decades before the icon finally did so vs. Kevin Owens at 'Mania 38. 'Stone Cold' can be proud of that match, because it worked a treat and gave fans exactly what they wanted.

Is everyone satisfied? To tweak an old Austin catchphrase, 'Gimme a hell no'. Demand has cooled a wee bit 'cause Steve didn't follow up on the KO bout with something else quickly, but the hype would start all over again if he was game for more. Why not? The guy's capable of scratching that itch every couple of years.

It doesn't even really matter who he's programmed against. Owens certainly wasn't top pick in 2022, but that worked out anyway. Austin vs. any number of upper-midcard/main event heels sounds like a party people would want to be part of.
