While Darby has had a couple AEW Championship title shots against Chris Jericho and Jon Moxley in the past, he surprisingly hasn't challenged for the TNT title yet. Considering his high status in the company, he is a very credible contender to defeat Brodie Lee, which would invest fans in the possibility of an upset victory. Allin's recent nearfall over Jon Moxley was one of the most exhilarating and tense moments in recent wrestling, and it would be enthralling to see a similar spot occur in a match where he has more of a chance at winning.
Allin is currently feuding with Ricky Starks but that's not a feud destined to last for months and months, and after it ends, what's better than proving his worth as an AEW main event talent by challenging the Leader of the Dark Order?
