9. Trish Stratus Vs. Alexa Bliss
Trish Stratus and Alexa Bliss was a match that was supposed to take place at WWE's first-ever all women's pay per view, Evolution. It was then turned into a tag team match with Trish teaming with Lita against Alexa Bliss and Mickie James. However, due to injury, Alexa was pulled from the match and replaced with another veteran, Alicia Fox.
Fans were excited at the idea of these two women facing off simply because they see a lot of similarities between Alexa Bliss and Trish Stratus. Bliss has gone on record saying that she has idolized Trish ever since she was a little girl.
During an interview, Trish confessed that, due to motherhood, she wasn't watching WWE programming very often. She heard from her followers on social media that there was a new superstar who reminded them of her, and she felt she had no choice but to turn on the TV to find out who it was they were referring to. Alexa's work on the microphone certainly mirrors the time that Trish was a heel, when she delivered her very best promo work. It was only natural to want to see these two go at it in the ring.
Sadly, it didn't go ahead, but here's hoping that it will happen one day soon. Trish is all for it. Alexa has wanted it for years. It's in WWE's court now.
