10 Dream WWE Matches That Could Still Happen

WWE undoubtedly loves booking matches that put power against power in a test of strength. Beth Phoenix was certainly one of the strongest female competitors of her time, while Nia Jax may be the most powerful of this era (just look at what she did to Becky Lynch last year).

These two powerhouses stood toe to toe at the first-ever women's Royal Rumble Match in January 2018, and fans were very much excited to see them go at it. Unfortunately, the encounter was very short-lived, but we did see Beth Phoenix hoist Nia onto her shoulders, almost eliminating her in the process.

Since the Royal Rumble, these two have clashed in the ring, but only for tag team action, with Beth teaming with her best friend Natalya, and Nia teaming with her cousin Tamina. They have yet to face each in an official one-on-one match.

Beth Phoenix is considered a trailblazer in that she did not look like the typical "Diva" that WWE normally hired during her time in the ring, paving the way for women like Nia Jax. Today, Nia is out with a double knee injury and Beth can be heard every week as one of the voices of the NXT commentary team. We got merely a tease -- an appetizer of what these two could do in the ring together at the Royal Rumble in 2018. But we want the whole meal! It will certainly be interesting to see The Glamazon against The Irresistible Force.
