10 Dream WWE Returns That IMMEDIATELY Became Nightmares

1. Shane McMahon

Shane McMahon received a polite reception when his famous, "Here comes the moneyyyyyy" refrain blared over the speakers at SoFi Stadium for WrestleMania 39. Snoop Dogg had introduced Shane as The Miz's surprise opponent, and the bell sounded on an impromptu match.

Seconds later, McMahon was grounded on the mat clutching his leg. He'd torn his quad during a routine leapfrog spot literally right as the match began, and that was very much that. His 'Mania performance boiled down to a so-so reaction from fans, some rabbit punches, a leapfrog and then a hospital visit.

It isn't cool to see anyone get hurt at the best of times, but this was also terribly embarrassing for Shane-O. Thinking on his feet, Snoop stepped in and smacked Miz around for a bit before hitting a People's Elbow and confirming what everyone already knew: Professional wrestling is so f*cking weird.

And painful, if you're Shane.
