10 Dream WWE Returns That IMMEDIATELY Became Nightmares
9. Bobby Lashley
One Bobby Lashley didn't quite experience the post-'Mania Raw torture that Tensai did when he returned in 2018, but big Bob didn't have a great time of it either. If anything, it'd be a few years before Lashley felt at home in WWE again after launching his second run the night after WrestleMania 34.
Bobby worked a few tag team bouts before starting an awful feud with Sami Zayn. Who could ever forget his stilted, awkward sit-down interviews with Renee Young, or the infamous "Lashley Sisters" segment that had onlookers wondering if WWE's writers were deliberately sabotaging his comeback?
It was that bad.
This was a less-than-impressive start to life back in the fed for a future WWE Champion. He was roundly mocked for the sibling/family backstory stuff, and outright failed to convey any sort of natural charisma during those chats with a visibly-bored Renee before working some plodders against Sami over the dismal summer months.
