10 Dumb Reasons Why Wrestlers Had To Apologise To Other Wrestlers

7. The Hardy Boyz (Sitting In First Class)

Hours after winning their first WWF Tag Team Titles on the 29 June 1999 Raw (the episode was pre-taped and aired on 5 July), Matt and Jeff Hardy hopped aboard a flight to the next town with Michael Hayes. Keen to celebrate, Hayes invited the pair up to first class even though they were booked in coach seats.

They ended up taking Kane's seat by accident. Eek!

The 'Devil's Favourite Demon' defied such nicknames and was polite about it, but news got round that The Hardyz thought they were big shots. So, you guessed it, they were made to say sorry and buy Kane dinner to make up for their moment of Hayes-fuelled madness.

Think about this for a second. A young tag-team sat in some first class seats, had already apologised to an established worker who didn't really give a toss in the first place and then had to repent all over again in front of the entire locker room.
