10 Dumb Reasons Why Wrestlers Had To Apologise To Other Wrestlers

5. Zack Ryder & Curt Hawkins (Texting)

This is a more recent revelation.

Zack Ryder and Curt Hawkins were backstage at Gorilla watching a 2009 house show main event between Triple H and Vladimir Kozlov. Around halfway through, both whipped out their phones and started playing around with those instead. Incensed, The Undertaker told them that they should be watching the match.

Presumably looking to teach the tag team a lesson, 'Taker also demanded that they apologise to both guys involved in the headliner. Agreeing, Zack and Curt went looking for Kozlov and Hunter; Ryder said on his 'True Long Island Story' show that it was super-awkward to say sorry to Vladimir in particular, especially 'cause the big man was so confused.

Triple H barely cared either. Ryder knocked on his dressing room door, walked in, explained the situation and said he was sorry. Later, WWE split the team up, and Zack doesn't think that was a coincidence. He and Hawkins looked at that creative decision as another punishment for texting.
