10 Dumbest Decisions Of WWE’s Attitude Era

3. Mae Young's Pregnancy

Mae Young is one of the toughest wrestlers to ever lace up a pair of boots. She debuted August 20th, 1939. By the time she was thirty years into her wrestling career, Ric Flair hadn€™t even debuted yet. She saw it all in the crazy world of professional wrestling, and had her last match only four years ago when she defeated LayCool in a Falls Count Anywhere match on the first Old School Raw, with the help of the Divas locker room. She came back to prominence during The Attitude Era, along with The Fabulous Moolah, as a sex-crazed maniac, playing on the obvious comedy found in old people acting like young people. In 2000, she began dating €œSexual Chocolate€ Mark Henry and the two would soon announce that they were pregnant. The pregnancy was thrown into jeopardy when Bubba Ray Dudley powerbombed the seventy-seven year old through a table twice, once from the stage. Everything worked out for the couple, and Mae Young went into labour and in the company of her lover Mark Henry, along with The Stooges, Gerald Brisco and Pat Patterson... she then gave birth to a healthy human hand. The story was never seriously followed up, and seemed to be a way to get themselves out of the corner they wrote themselves into without doing another abortion angle. It€™s now fondly remembered as an example of how innocently stupid The Attitude Era could be. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c36qKzPx6RI
