10 Dumbest Decisions Of WWE’s Attitude Era

4. Pretty Mean Sisters

On the surface, the basic idea of the Pretty Mean Sisters wasn€™t a terrible idea. They were a collection of spurned valets who weren€™t going to be pushed around and struck out on their own to prove they didn€™t need no man. It€™s an idea that could work, but as soon as you realise that their name is a play on Premenstrual Syndrome, you realise just how subtle and tactful this gimmick is going to be. The Pretty Mean Sisters were at first Jacqueline, who had recently split from Marc Mero, and Terri Runnels who had just recently split from her husband Goldust. During a match between the two, their former valets entered the ring and let the world know where they stand by low-blowing both men. Their most offensive angle came when D€™Lo Brown knocked a €œpregnant€ Terri Runnels off the ring apron by accident, and she claimed to have a miscarriage. Miscarriage storylines are always uncomfortable, but when translated into the over-dramatic world of professional wrestling, they€™re downright unbearable. Thankfully, the angle only lasted through one month, and has been forgotten by most wrestling fans. PMS would go on to recruit Shawn Stasiak as their man-servant meat, who would routinely lose matches because he was low on energy due to all-day sex session with Terri.
