10 Dumbest Storylines Of WWE's PG Era

4. Little People's Court

To WWE, child-friendly booking often translates to childish booking, and that was never more evident than when Shawn Michaels and Triple H got called to Little People's Court. After mistreating would-be DX member Hornswoggle for weeks, the pair were served with subpoenas to appear before the mysterious tribunal. The following week -- November 30, 2009 -- both Triple H and Shawn Michaels were dragged under the ring, where an entire society of little people conducted their legal affairs. D-Generation X was confronted with video of their misdeeds, and a fantastically-overacting Shawn Michaels (the only saving grace of the entire segment) was terrified by the fate that awaited them. Things weren't going in the former WWE Champions' favor, so they made a break for it, finally escaping from the bowels of what looked just like an arena's backstage area and crawling out from under the ring. Michaels was grabbed by hands from under the apron, but HHH managed to save him. The whole thing sounds innocuous enough -- and to be fair, ongoing storylines have done a lot more damage to the company -- but it was so long and so silly that thousands (if not millions) of viewers must have wondered just what the hell they were watching. What it was was WrestleCrap at its finest -- hardly fun for the whole family.
