10 Early Contenders To Win WWE Money In The Bank 2017

5. Kevin Owens

Kevin Owens’ inclusion in Money In The Bank likely depends on whether or not he’s United States Champion at the time. ‘The Face Of America’ will put his belt on the line against Chris Jericho at Payback, and if he wins, he’ll have to defend it versus AJ Styles. Even if he loses the belt, however, he’ll still have a rematch clause to invoke, and depending on the timing, that may occur at the MITB PPV.

If he’s in the ladder match, however, Owens would be an outstanding choice to win. Becoming Mr. Money In The Bank should suit his cunning, opportunistic character to a tee, and he’s already one of the most over wrestlers in the company. Few antagonists would be more convincing and effective at teasing cash-ins, and an eventual run as WWE Champion would go a long way to erasing the sour memories of his disastrous Universal Title reign.

KO is SmackDown’s top heel these days, and nobody can even challenge him for that spot at the moment. He’s going to be near the top of the card for the duration of his run on Tuesday nights, and is one of the wrestlers most likely to snatch the briefcase in June.
