As with Kevin Owens, AJ Styles’ Money In The Bank inclusion will probably be determined by the United States Championship situation. If he’s in the ladder match, however, AJ’s victory almost feels like a no-brainer. He has carried SmackDown on his back for months at a time since the 2016 draft, and while currently preoccupied in the upper-midcard, it’s only a matter of time before he re-enters the WWE Championship hunt.

Styles winning would go over incredibly well with the crowd, and as one of the best wrestlers in the planet, his inclusion guarantees a good-to-great ladder match. Even if he does win the US Title, AJ can sit on the briefcase for several months, bide his time, then cash in when he’s free of SmackDown’s second belt.

Who knows: maybe WWE will even go down the Seth Rollins route, and have AJ hold both at the same time?

No other Mr. Money In The Bank would excite the fans like AJ, and winning would be yet another outstanding achievement on his impressive resumé. With Styles, it’s all a matter of timing, but if anyone’s worth of this year’s prize, it’s ‘The Phenomenal One.’
