When you look at some of the other wrestlers who get to call themselves WWE Hall of Famers, it's kind of incredible that a man with the talent and profile of Vader isn't yet among them, despite repeated calls from fans.

You are almost tempted to suggest that there is perhaps some bad blood between the two parties (perhaps stemming from the fact he never won the world title), but it can't be that: he appeared at the HOF two years ago to induct Stan Hansen.

It seems there is no good reason for him not to be inducted next year, which is long overdue for a guy who wore the WCW World Heavyweight Championship three times and came perilously close to winning the WWE equivalent in 1996.

Mick Foley is a decent shout to do the honours. He publicly called for Vader to get the nod a couple of years back, and they share plenty of history together in the ring, both as opponents and - for a short while - tag team partners as well.
