10 Early Reasons To Be Worried About WWE WrestleMania 37

3. But Drew McIntyre Doesn't

F*cking imagine, part deux.

Drew McIntyre dropped the WWE Championship to The Miz at the culmination of Elimination Chamber after an attack by Bobby Lashley. 'The Scottish Warrior' now doesn't have a clear path for him going into WrestleMania.

We shouldn't be surprised by this in reality. Shinsuke Nakamura was challenging for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania 34 vs. AJ Styles in a hotly-anticipated clash, and then by WrestleMania 35, he was in a meaningless SmackDown Tag Team Championships contest.

As for Drew, though, he's actually been booked exceptionally well - for the most part, anyway - in the past year. He's enjoyed two reasonable runs as the champion with decent outings against AJ Styles, Keith Lee, and Seth Rollins since. McIntyre is the top guy in WWE right now, tied only with Roman Reigns.

Yet, he could be left out of the main title picture on the biggest wrestling show of the year.

While Bobby Lashley could become WWE Champion before then, and then be challenged by Drew to build on their Elimination Chamber altercation, it may not be the direction WWE goes in. It's a match we've seen before, both in WWE and Impact Wrestling, and both were decent matches.

Will they do it again? Perhaps not.
